We tilted the concept of live/work on its head to create a new mixed-use development focusing on work/play.  To most, it’s an office but to us, this mixed-use project provided 648 with a special challenge to present a retail environment that is engaging and integrated into the workplace and entertainment aspects of modern society.  This was done by vertical integration of retail spaces that were strategically placed and intertwined with the office suites.  Inviting the public and private to mingle in a second-story restaurant or finding a small coffee shop conveniently and centrally located in the upper-level offices were the intentions behind this design.
